Why We Do It

Two Deported Ukrainian Girls On Playground

Twins Girls Orphaned and Abducted by Russia

When Russian shelling killed the parents of newborn twin girls, nurses at a Kherson orphanage took them in. Russian occupiers then seized the babies and brought them to Russia.

The girls’ uncle, their closest living relative, came home from working abroad and formally sought custody. Russian officials ignored him, renamed the twins, and posted them for adoption. A Russian family took them.

He is still fighting for them — determined that his nieces will grow up knowing who their parents were, and how much they were loved.

Teen Sent to Respite Camp and Never Returned

Trapped in Russian-occupied Ukraine, a family let their 15-year-old son Danylo attend a free summer camp offered by Russian officials. He was exhausted and anxious from years of war. A few weeks of rest seemed like a lifeline.

Danylo never came home.

He was placed in a Russian “re-education” program, given a new name and new documents, and transferred to a Russian family. His family is still searching — and racing against time. Danylo is nearly old enough for Russia to conscript him to fight against his own country.

46 of 69 Children, Located.

Russia took 84 children from the Oleshky boarding school in 2022. Thirteen have come home, two have died, and 69 are still missing. In June 2026, our team located 46 of them — our largest breakthrough yet. 23 cases remain unresolved, and finding a child is only the start of bringing them home.
