“7 Women, 7 Lives, One Destiny” – International campaign launch

From Kherson to Paris: Strength, Pain, and Hope for a group of Ukrainian mothers searching for their missing children

The Emile Foundation brought a group of mothers from across Ukraine to Paris, women from Kherson who survived occupation, violence, and years of fear. Women whose children were stolen by Russia and who are still fighting to bring them home.

One of them had never left Ukraine in her entire life, not once. Only war, only loss.

And yet in Paris, she stood in front of a room full of journalists and spoke. All of them did. Their voices trembled, but they shared their stories anyway.

That is real bravery.

A campaign to amplify their voices globally

What began with the voices of seven Ukrainian women has already reached more than 30 media outlets across several continents.

Within days, we have seen coverage from France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Canada, Türkiye, Ukraine and South America, and more continues to appear every day.

For the first time, the world is not only speaking about the children stolen by Russia, it is finally listening to the mothers, grandmothers and guardians whose lives have been forever changed. They are the true victims; they are the true voices behind this tragedy.

Their stories are being heard, clearly and globally through our campaign, under the patronage of Oleksandra Matviichuk : 7 Women, 7 Lives, One Destiny | Do You Hear Me?

For a few hours, they were not “victims”

They were simply alive, women, mothers, human beings who deserve joy, dignity, and peace.

And this matters, what we do is not charity, it is humanity. No one should have to earn compassion or the right to feel safe.

Our responsibility is not only to support them, but to advocate and fight for them, to ensure their voices are heard, their rights protected, and their children brought home.

Every family we help, every life we touch, reminds us that despite the challenges, it is all worth it.

And the bond we build, the one that emerges in those quiet human moments, will last far beyond Paris.

This is only the beginning. Together, we will bring them home. 🇺🇦💛
