With a background in IT and Telecoms, Samuel’s professional career has seen him in roles such as a Project Manager or Technical Expert for prominent companies in the Telecoms, Energy, and Marketing sectors across Europe. Over the past decade, he has served as a European civil servant, advising top management and guiding a team of IT experts through a comprehensive modernization process.

With a background predominantly in Economics and IT, Axel brings a wealth of expertise to our organization. His extensive career includes overseeing diverse teams in critical sectors such as Insurance, IT, Airline, Energy, and Financial Markets. Since 2023, Axel has embarked on a new chapter, bringing his invaluable skills to the non-profit sector, where he guides and steers Emile Foundation as a key member of our board.

Veronika has extensive experience in the dynamic field of migration law, analysing legal issues and conducting comprehensive research on relevant laws, regulations and court decisions. As a lawyer with the Ombudsman of Czech Republic, she has been focusing lately on supporting Ukrainians seeking peace and safety in her home country.

“I became part of Emile Foundation because it makes sense to me. When I first heard how many children had been taken to Russia and how many were being taken home, I was horrified. I want to do my bit to help some of the other children return.”
