Emergency response after deadly attack in Lutsk

06/06/2025

On the night of June 5–6, Russia launched a large-scale missile and drone attack on Ukraine, with the northwest city of Lutsk hit particularly hard.

Two people were killed, and over 30 were injured, according to Ukrainian authorities. A 9-storey residential building partially collapsed. Nearby homes, offices, and industrial sites were heavily damaged.

Shortly after the strike, our team was on the ground, delivering food, hygiene items, and essential supplies to 70 families affected by these attacks.

Since the start of the war, Emile Foundation has been permanently present in Ukraine, committed to helping families recover and rebuild in the face of unimaginable loss.

The Day After the Biggest Strike on Kharkiv

26/08/2023

In the night of Independence Day, Russia stroke Kharkiv with a series of missiles, destroying many civil buildings. Our team was on the ground, for what became a routine mission to the frontline regions, which enabled us to be on site when the fire brigade arrived. We witnessed desolation, chaos and a picture of modern hell.

We saw elderly people who told us they hadn’t seen anything like this, firemen letting out their emotions with tears, and children’s clothes lying around in the destroyed playground.

Our team worked with the local communities to assess the situation, identifying what was the most needed for those who lost their houses in the attack. We purchased 2 vans-worth of food, off-the-counter medicine and hygiene items, and drove around the neighbourhood to deliver them to the families, still in shock.

Deliveries at the front line – Bakhmut/Soledar

29/11/2022

Together with our team of volunteers for Orphans Feeding Foundation, we have now completed the (hand-to-hand) delivery of winter items to various cities in Ukraine, including Kherson, Beryslav, Zaporizhia, Nikopol, Mikolaivv, Kryvyi Rih, Cherkasy, Kremenchuk, Poltava, Dnipro… and finally Bahmut and Soledar!
12 cities in 15 days to ensure that our Ukrainian people are ready to face the cold winter days ahead.

Bakhmut and Soledar still hold, even though those cities are heavily shelled and the bridges to reach them are being destroyed everyday.

During our mission, like many Ukrainian people, we ran into power shortage, cold weather, no food, no sleep, no access to communication… but we kept going despite all these challenges. Thanks to the many donations of the Winter is Coming campaign, we have been able to deliver 16.7 tons of winter clothes, 24 tons of ready-made meals, 50 generators and 200 wood stoves to the villages of the front line. Our goal is to provide emergency humanitarian aid to those civilians who lost everything overnight.
