Emile Foundation on the Main Stage at GLOBSEC 2026
Speaking at the GLOBSEC Forum 2026 in Prague, Mariam Lambert, CEO & Co-Founder of the Emile Foundation, reminded us of the faces behind this horrible tragedy.
Mariam Lambert was part of the ‘Saving the Future of Ukraine: Caring for Next Generations’ panel at the GLOBSEC Forum 2026, in which she highlighted two cases that define the scale of this crisis: 88 children with disabilities — some in wheelchairs, others with neurological disorders — abducted from Oleshky Children’s Boarding School, and 48 infants as young as 10 months old taken from Kherson Home Orphanage to Russia.
Many of those infants were later found listed in a Russian adoption database.

Her message was clear: “The abduction of Ukrainian children is not just geopolitics. It is a human issue, a moral one. It’s been four years. Today it’s Ukraine — and tomorrow it will be another country.”
The Emile Foundation continues to document these cases and push for accountability on the international stage.
This work cannot wait. We must bring these children home. 🌻
