Strengthening Peace and Humanitarian Cooperation in Brazil

We are honoured to announce that Maria Paula, actress, author, mental health advocate, and Peace Ambassador of Brazil, has joined hands with the Emile Foundation. Dedicated to co-creating communities rooted in harmony, understanding, and peace, Maria Paula embodies the spirit of “artivism”: using art as a force for social change.

Her role opens a new chapter of cooperation between Brazil and the Emile Foundation, strengthening our shared commitment to humanitarian action.

The Emile Foundation in Brazil
Since 2023, the Emile Foundation has been working in Brazil to raise awareness about the abduction of Ukrainian children to Russia. In Brasília, we engaged with more than 30 parliamentarians, including Senator Flavio Nogueira, who voiced strong support for the children’s cause:

In 2024, our CEO Mariam Lambert represented the foundation at the G20 Social Summit in Brazil, together with Nobel Peace Prize laureates Oleksandra Matviichuk and Alexander Cherkasov, further amplifying the global call to reunite these children with their families.

With Maria Paula as Peace Ambassador, we look forward to deepening our cooperation with Brazil, uniting art, advocacy, and diplomacy to bring hope, healing, and justice to children affected by war.
