When Lyudmila Batygina came back home, her grand-child had been kidnapped
Lyudmila Batygina did everything she could for her grand-son. Unfortunately, she arrived too late. The children had taken him.
When Vayna (Ivan) Batygin’s mother died, he was temporarily placed in an orphanage. While his grandmother, Lyudmila Batygina, began the legal process to adopt her grandson, Russians invaded Ukraine.
Before that process could be completed, it was too late. Russian forces had abducted Vayna and taken him to Russia.
Now his grandmother has just one plea: Vayna belongs with his family.
Every child – everywhere – deserves dignity, safety, and the right to grow up with their family. Russia has violated those rights.
It is time to bring Vayna, and every Ukrainian child kidnapped by Russia, home.
